Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and Q shield, as Vladimir's Q has shorter range and early cooldowns are long.
- Post-6 becomes more volatile as Vladimir's R creates kill pressure, but you maintain poke advantage if you respect his all-in windows.
How to Trade
- Use Q for shield and poke, then follow with E when Vladimir steps up for CS or Q trades.
- Space properly to avoid his E range while maximizing your longer-range abilities for consistent chip damage.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to build Hex Fragment lead and force Vladimir to use abilities on minions rather than harass.
- Maintain minion advantage to make his pool escapes more costly and limit his sustain opportunities.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use W reactively when Vladimir pools, as he can simply wait it out and re-engage.
- Save W for when he's committed to extended trades or use it proactively to zone him from CS.
