Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and Q shield, as Ekko must commit heavily to engage you.
- Post-6 becomes more volatile as Ekko's R gives him kill pressure and escape options, but you maintain advantage in extended fights with R zone control.
How to Trade
- Use Q for shield and poke, then immediately back away to avoid Ekko's Q return or W follow-up.
- Only use E when Ekko is locked in animation or you can guarantee the hit, as missing it leaves you vulnerable to his all-in.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with E to establish priority and farm safely from range, then transition to freezing near your tower once Ekko hits 6.
- This forces him to overextend for farm while keeping you safe from his dive potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W reactively when Ekko engages, as he can easily walk out before the stun procs.
- Save W for when he's already committed to a fight or use it proactively to zone him from minions.
