Who Wins
- Pre-6: You generally lose trades due to Brand's superior burst and range advantage with Q-W-E combo.
- Post-6: You can match his kill pressure with R, but Brand still has edge in quick burst trades while you excel in extended fights with your R zone control.
How to Trade
- Use Q for shield then immediately auto-attack for Discharge proc, follow with E if Brand steps forward aggressively.
- Avoid extended trades early since Brand's passive burn and higher base damages will out-trade your lower early game damage output.
Wave Control
- Focus on safe farming with E to collect Hex Fragments while staying out of Brand's Q-W range.
- Push waves when Brand roams since your E waveclear becomes superior, but avoid overextending without vision as Brand can easily set up ganks with W.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to match Brand's early aggression or fight in his minion waves where his abilities can spread.
- Avoid using W defensively too early as it's your only escape tool against his combo, and don't waste mana on poke trades you can't win.
