- You win pre-6 through superior range and wave control, as Akali struggles to engage through minions without taking significant poke.
- Post-6 becomes much more dangerous as her R gives her the gap-close and burst potential to threaten kills, though you can still win if you land W before she engages.
How to Trade
- Poke with Q when she goes for CS, then use the empowered auto if she tries to trade back, while positioning to hit E through minions to damage both her and the wave.
- Always keep W ready as your primary defensive tool when she has energy and cooldowns available.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to build Hex Fragment advantage and force her to CS under tower where she's more vulnerable to poke.
- After 6, maintain vision control and only push when you know her R is down or you have jungle assistance nearby.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W proactively or use it for wave clear, as it's your only reliable escape tool against her all-in potential.
- Never face-check bushes or unwarded areas after 6, as her W invisibility combined with R can result in instant death.
