Scuttle Contest
- You win scuttle fights at level 3 if you land W stun and have full passive stacks, but Jax can trade evenly with E dodge.
- From level 6, you only win 1v1s if you possess a recently killed enemy champion or if Jax wastes his E cooldown.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Jax will likely start bot side for leash and do a standard 3-camp clear into scuttle, then look for ganks on his strong side.
- He may also do a full clear if lanes aren't gankable since his clear speed improves significantly after first back.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Jax's jungle after level 4 when he's shown on opposite side of map, targeting his krugs or gromp.
- Avoid invading when you don't have vision of him since his E can turn fights around quickly in jungle chokes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase Jax through jungle chokes where he can use E effectively against walls.
- Never fight him when he has Shojin or other key items without having a possession ready, as his sustained damage will outduel you.
