Who Wins

  • You lose most 1v1s pre-6 due to Trundle's Q auto-reset and W attack speed steroid giving him superior sustained trades.
  • Post-6 you can win all-ins if you land Q-R combo and avoid fighting on his W, but he still wins extended trades in his pillar zone.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is Q-E-auto then immediately disengage before he can retaliate with Q-W sustained damage.
  • Never commit to extended trades as his Q steals your AD and his W gives him massive combat stats in the zone.

Wave Control

  • Push waves hard with E to create roam timers since you cannot match his split push potential later.
  • Focus on shoving and looking for jungle skirmishes or mid ganks rather than trying to farm safely against his freeze potential.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never fight him in his W zone or when he has pillar available to extend trades.
  • Don't waste Q on minions when he's in range to engage, as you need it to escape his all-ins or to initiate your own burst combo.
