Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and wave control with Q poke and E zone denial.
- Post-6 becomes Zed-favored as his R gives him guaranteed gap close through your E fear, though your R can counter-engage if he commits poorly.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is Q poke when he goes for CS, then E placement to deny his W-Q combo approach.
- If he W's forward, you can E-W-Q for a strong trade since he's committed his escape.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with Q to establish range advantage and ward positioning, then maintain slow push or freeze near your tower.
- This forces Zed to overextend for CS and limits his W-R all-in angles.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E reactively against his W shadow - he can wait it out and still engage.
- Save E for when he's actually committed with W forward or R, as the fear duration is your only reliable escape tool.
