Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 convincingly with your Q poke and passive mark damage, as Yone lacks gap closers and sustain early.
- At level 6, you still have the advantage since your R can interrupt his E return and your burst combo can kill him before he completes his engage.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q to mark him, then auto for passive proc while staying at max range.
- When he tries to engage with E, immediately use W fear to interrupt his combo and follow up with Q-auto for another passive proc.
Wave Control
- Push the wave early levels to establish lane priority and poke him under tower where he can't retaliate effectively.
- After level 6, maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower to deny him roam opportunities while keeping the wave in a safe position.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your W fear defensively unless he's already committed with E, as wasting it gives him a free engage window.
- Don't push past river without vision, as Yone players will look for jungle assistance to overcome the losing matchup.
