Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and wave control with Q poke, but Veigar can match your waveclear once he gets some AP stacks.
- Post-6 becomes Veigar-favored as his R execute damage combined with cage setup gives him kill threat that you struggle to match.
How to Trade
- Look for Q+auto trades when Veigar steps up for CS, then immediately back off to avoid his Q+W combo.
- Your best extended trades come from landing E fear into full combo, but this requires him to be positioned aggressively.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with Q to establish priority and roam timing, but transition to freezing once Veigar gets waveclear.
- You want to deny him free stacking while maintaining your ability to impact other lanes with R.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't get caught in Veigar's E cage during trades as it guarantees his full combo and potential kill post-6.
- Avoid using your E dash aggressively without vision as Veigar's team can easily collapse on your immobile position after the fear wears off.
