Who Wins

  • You win trades levels 1-3 with your Q poke and passive procs, maintaining range advantage.
  • At level 6, you can still win if you use Fear to interrupt Akali's ultimate engage, but she gains significant kill threat if you misplay.

How to Trade

  • You should poke with Q through minions to hit Akali and proc your passive for the damage boost.
  • Use your E defensively when she tries to engage, then follow up with Q-W combo while she's feared.

Wave Control

  • You want to push waves constantly with Q to keep Akali under tower and deny her roaming opportunities.
  • Maintain vision control since you're immobile and vulnerable to ganks when pushed up.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • You cannot waste your Fear on minions or miss it when Akali has ultimate available, as you'll be completely vulnerable to her all-in.
  • Don't face-check bushes or areas without vision since Akali can easily ambush you with her stealth.
