Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You win through Q poke and E setup for Varus follow-up damage.
  • Post-6: Tristana's all-in becomes dangerous, but your R provides massive teamfight damage and zone control they can't match.

Synergy & Trading

  • Land Q through minions to chunk enemies, then use E when Tristana tries to W forward for guaranteed follow-up from Varus.
  • Save W for when they're already committed to trades for maximum damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Don't roam early - your poke pressure with Varus is too valuable and Tristana can easily all-in if you leave.
  • Consider roaming post-6 only if lane is heavily pushed and you have R available.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never use E carelessly as it's your only self-peel against Tristana's W engage.
  • Position where you can't be flanked and always respect Tristana's W-Flash-R burst range when she hits level 6.
