Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and consistent poke damage that Briar cannot sustain through.
- Post-6 requires extreme positioning awareness as Poppy R into Briar R can instantly delete you from fights.
Synergy & Trading
- Use Q and W to poke while Kai'Sa stacks plasma, focusing Briar first as he has no sustain early game.
- Save E for when Briar commits with Q, as the knockup cancels his W healing and creates kill windows.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam mid after shoving when Kai'Sa can safely farm 1v2, typically around levels 4-6 before enemy ultimates come online.
- Ward river bushes before roaming as Poppy can easily set up ganks in jungle chokes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never face-check bushes or walk near walls when enemies are missing as Poppy E into Briar combo can kill you instantly.
- Don't waste E on poke when Briar has Q available - save it to cancel his engage attempts.
