Who Wins

  • You lose early trades pre-6 due to Gnar's superior range, mobility, and sustained damage output.
  • Post-6 you can threaten all-ins with R if Gnar mispositions, but he still wins extended trades with his kiting potential.

How to Trade

  • Use Q to last hit minions while staying max range, and only trade when Gnar wastes his Q boomerang or steps too close.
  • Your E cage can punish his aggression, but avoid extended trades since his auto-attack DPS will outdamage your burst.

Wave Control

  • Focus on farming safely under tower and letting Gnar push into you early game.
  • Use Q to stack AP while clearing waves, and avoid freezing since Gnar can easily dive you with his mobility and range advantage.
