Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 due to Galio's superior waveclear with Q and his ability to trade favorably with Q-W combos while you're stuck farming with Q.
- Post-6 you win 1v1s if you land E, as your burst combo can kill him through his magic resist, but he can still threaten all-ins with R if you're not careful.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use Q on minions for stacks while poking with W when Galio uses abilities on the wave.
- When he steps up, try to land E-W-Q combo, but only commit to extended trades if you have a significant health advantage since his sustained damage is higher.
Wave Control
- Focus on freezing the wave near your tower early to farm safely and stack Q, then look to slow push when you have items to match his waveclear.
