Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and trading power, as your Q poke and E-W combo outdamages Yasuo's short trades while he lacks meaningful sustain.
- Post-6 you maintain advantage since your R execute threshold and tankiness outscale his burst potential in extended fights.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves Q poke when Yasuo goes for CS, then if he engages with E-Q, immediately E him during his dash to flip him behind you and follow with W-auto-Q.
- This forces him to take your full combo while his W becomes useless since you're behind him.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish range advantage and deny his passive shield resets, then maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower once he hits level 3-6.
- This forces him to overextend for CS where you can punish with E-W combos while staying safe from ganks.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never waste your E as an engage tool when Yasuo has minions nearby, as he can easily dash away through the wave and turn the trade.
- Always hold E as a counter-engage tool or use it only when he's isolated from minions.
