Who Wins
- You dominate pre-6 with superior range, W damage, and E crowd control, but lose most all-ins post-6 once Jax gets R unless you land E.
- Your level 1-2 W poke is particularly strong before he gets E to trade back effectively.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is to poke with W when he goes for CS, then use E defensively when he Q's onto you to flip and extend the trade.
- Always try to proc your passive legs during extended trades for maximum damage output.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or neutral wave state to keep poking him with W while staying safe from ganks.
- Avoid hard pushing unless you can crash and recall since Jax can freeze against you effectively.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never waste your E aggressively when Jax has Q available as he can easily dodge it and then all-in you without your main defensive tool.
- Don't let him freeze the wave near his tower where you can't poke safely and he can look for all-ins.
