Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 through superior range, sustain, and ability to punish Fizz's Q engages with E flip into W.
  • Post-6 becomes skill-dependent as Fizz can dodge your R with E, but you still win if you land E or if he wastes E poorly.

How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading is to E flip him when he Qs onto you, then immediately W for maximum damage while he's slowed.
  • If he Es away, use Q to poke and maintain pressure rather than chasing into his minions.

Wave Control

  • You want to freeze the wave near your tower to deny Fizz CS and force him to overextend for farm.
  • Use your range advantage to last-hit while poking him, and only push when you want to recall or roam.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste E trying to engage on Fizz when his E is available, as he can easily dodge it and trade back favorably.
  • Also avoid using W when he has E up, as he can E over you and make you waste the ability on minions.
