Who Wins

  • You can trade evenly pre-6 by using Q stance for damage and immediately switching to W for shield and sustain, but his superior base stats give him an edge in all-ins.
  • Post-6 the matchup becomes much harder as his R provides execution damage and AoE while you gain no meaningful combat ultimate.

How to Trade

  • Use hit-and-run tactics with Q stance auto then immediately W for shield and movement speed to disengage before he can retaliate with his full combo.
  • Never commit to extended trades where his W can absorb damage and convert it into true damage against you.

Wave Control

  • Focus on freezing the wave near your tower where you can safely farm with Q stance lifesteal and force him to overextend for CS.
  • Avoid pushing as you have no reliable escape from his E-R combo when overextended, and his waveclear with Q matches yours.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't try to match his all-in potential by staying in melee range after your initial Q proc, as his W absorption and true damage will win extended fights.
  • Avoid fighting when your stances are on cooldown, as you become extremely vulnerable to his E pull into full combo.
