Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 trades through superior range and poison stacking, as Yasuo must commit hard to engage on you.
  • Post-6 becomes much more dangerous as his R gives him gap-close potential to bypass your range advantage entirely.

How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading is auto-E when he goes for CS, then immediately back off to avoid his Q3-E-Q combo retaliation.
  • Never try to extended trade as his passive shield and mobility will win longer engagements.

Wave Control

  • Push early levels to establish range control, then maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower once he hits level 3.
  • You want minions between you and him to block his E dashes while maintaining CS advantage.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never use W aggressively for poke as it removes your only escape tool against his all-in potential.
  • Getting caught without W against a competent Yasuo is almost always death post-6.
