Who Wins
- You lose early trades heavily due to Heimerdinger's turret damage and E stun setup, but post-6 you gain significant kill pressure with R allowing you to dive through his turret line.
- Level 2-3 are particularly dangerous as Heimerdinger gets his full turret + E combo online.
How to Trade
- You need to use E aggressively to gap close onto Heimerdinger directly, avoiding his turrets, then commit to extended trades with auto attacks and Q heal.
- Short trades are terrible since you'll eat turret damage without dealing meaningful damage back.
Wave Control
- You should freeze the wave near your tower early to avoid being poked down by turrets, then look to slow push and crash waves post-6 when you can threaten all-ins.
- Never let Heimerdinger push you under tower early as his turrets will chunk you heavily.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to farm safely by staying at max range - Heimerdinger's turrets will zone you completely and you'll fall massively behind in CS.
- You also can't waste your E to escape poke since it's your only gap closer for actual kill attempts.
