Who Wins

  • You lose pre-6 to Kennen's range and poke but can threaten all-ins if he wastes abilities or overextends.
  • Post-6 you win most fights with R stealing his resistances and your superior sustain through passive and Q healing.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is W for movement speed into Q bite, then back off unless you can commit to a full all-in with E pillar.
  • Save E for when Kennen tries to E away or to set up ganks rather than using it for poke.

Wave Control

  • You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to force Kennen to overextend for CS, making him vulnerable to ganks and all-ins.
  • Once you have items and levels, you can look to slow push and dive him under tower.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't chase Kennen through minions early game as he'll proc Electrocute and kite you while you take minion damage.
  • Avoid using E pillar carelessly as it's your main tool for catching him when he uses E to escape.
