LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- You win level 1 and level 2 decisively because your Q grants immediate attack speed and your passive healing is active from the start, while Aatrox needs level 3 to access his full Q rotation.
- At level 3 Aatrox becomes more dangerous with his full Q combo, so use your early advantage to establish health leads and zone him off CS before he reaches that spike.
How to Trade
- Post-6, your R is a direct counter to Aatrox's R — activating it during his R strips his armor and magic resistance while reducing the effective healing he gains, turning his supposed power spike into a liability.
- You win the extended duel post-6 as long as you do not let him land repeated Q sweet spots, so stay mobile and respect his E repositioning to avoid the knockup.
Wave Control
- Your best trading pattern is to engage with Q active, stick to him with your E pillar to cut off his escape routes and deny his E dashes, and sustain through his Q damage with your passive while continuously applying DPS.
- Force him into extended fights rather than short trades, because your healing scales better over time and his omnivamp is only efficient when he is landing sweet spots.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not place your E pillar reactively after he has already dashed — anticipate his E direction based on his Q animation and place the pillar to block his repositioning before he commits.
- Standing directly on top of Aatrox and letting him freely angle Q sweet spots without terrain pressure is the primary way Trundle players lose this matchup.
