Who Wins
- Pre-6, you do not win the straight 2v2 — Lux's range and poke combined with Smolder's Q harass outrange your early auto-attack pattern, and your W escape is reactive not proactive.
- Post-6, if Morgana lands a Q and you have your R, you can burst Smolder or Lux before Lux can respond with her full combo.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to wait for Morgana's Q to land, then W onto the rooted target, auto-attack with E stacked for the slow, and prepare your R for the kill or disengage.
- Never W in without Morgana's Q already connecting — Lux will punish the overextension with her own Q or E.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push hard to deny Smolder cannon minion stacks, as his mid-to-late game scaling is heavily dependent on passive progression.
- Use your E passive to accelerate tower pressure and force Smolder to choose between stacking under tower or losing plates.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W aggressively into Lux's Q range without Morgana's E already on you — Lux's Q root into full combo will kill you if you are caught without the black shield.
- Jumping in without coordination is the primary way this lane loses.
