Synergy & Trading
- Use E passive autos and Q threat to zone Miss Fortune from CS while staying at max range.
- When Maokai engages, immediately lantern Xayah to safety and use E to interrupt Miss Fortune's follow-up damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam frequently after establishing vision control, especially when Maokai is looking to match your roams.
- Optimal timings are after successful poke trades, when Xayah can safely farm, or to ward enemy jungle before objectives.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't hook Maokai unless you have guaranteed kill pressure, as he can W your ADC during your Q animation.
