Who Wins
- You win level 2 all-ins with Q-E combo setting up Lucian's burst, but level 6 becomes more difficult as Nami's R disrupts your engages and Ezreal gains escape tools.
- Your early game hook threat is stronger than their disengage until they get ultimate abilities.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for Q hooks when Ezreal uses Q to CS or when he's in predictable positions, then immediately E-AA-ignite while Lucian follows up with full combo.
- Use W to help Lucian gap-close or escape, and save E for when enemies try to disengage from your Q.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam mid or jungle after level 3-4 when Lucian can handle the 1v2 safely, especially if the wave is pushing toward them.
- Time roams when Nami recalls or when Ezreal is low on mana, as your Q threat in other lanes is very high.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't throw random Q hooks that can be easily dodged, as missing gives them 15+ seconds of free aggression and farming.
- Avoid getting poked down by Nami W bounces in extended laning, as being low HP makes your engages much weaker and more risky.
