Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and Q blind, but Zed's level 3 W-E-Q combo can chunk you heavily if you misposition.
- Post-6 Zed wins all-ins decisively with R, as your Q blind doesn't prevent his ultimate damage or shadow swaps.
How to Trade
- Auto-attack Zed when he goes for CS, then immediately Q him when he tries to trade back with W-E-Q combo.
- Use your range advantage to poke with autos and poison, but always respect his W cooldown and shadow positioning.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to establish range control and deny Zed easy CS, but avoid overextending past river without vision.
- After level 6, maintain slow pushes or freeze near your tower since Zed's roam potential becomes extremely dangerous.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste Q on Zed when his W is up, as he can simply shadow away and re-engage when blind expires.
- Never push past river without deep wards post-6, as Zed's roaming threat forces you to play defensively despite your early lane advantage.
