Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 as Darius can run you down with ghost/flash if you misposition, and his Q heals while chunking you hard.
- At level 6 you gain significant advantage as R poison combined with Q blind negates his all-in potential and forces him to respect your zone control.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is Q auto then immediately back off before blind wears off, never extended trades.
- Use W to create distance after trading and only go for longer trades when he's low and you can kite with R slow while he's blinded.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to avoid ganks and his all-ins, using Q to last hit safely.
- After level 6 you can push with R mushrooms for vision and map pressure, but always maintain escape routes through jungle.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never face-check bushes or fight in minion waves where he can Q heal off multiple targets.
- Don't waste Q on minions when he's in range to engage, and avoid trading when your W is on cooldown as you'll have no escape from his E pull.
