Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through levels 2-3 when you can land W-Q combos while Yasuo lacks tornado stacks.
- Post-6 you lose extended all-ins as Yasuo's R resets his shield and provides armor penetration against your lethality build.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade is W (both parts) into Q melee range for the crit and bleed, then immediately back off before Yasuo can extend with E-Q.
- Never commit to longer trades as his passive shield and Q poke will out-sustain your burst windows.
Wave Control
- You want to push early levels to hit your power spikes first, but transition to freezing near your tower once Yasuo gets items.
- His E mobility makes him difficult to gank, so controlling the wave position near your safety is more valuable than roam timings.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your E aggressively without jungle assistance as Yasuo can E through minions to chase you down the entire lane length.
- Getting caught in the middle of the lane with E on cooldown against a champion with infinite mobility is a guaranteed death.
