- You win pre-6 trades through levels 2-3 when you can W-Q combo for significant damage while Malzahar lacks meaningful retaliation.
- Post-6 becomes much harder as his R completely shuts down your all-in potential and forces you to build QSS.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is W-Q-AA when he steps up for CS, then immediately back off to avoid minion aggro and his Q return damage.
- Never commit to extended trades as his E-W combo outdamages you in longer exchanges.
Wave Control
- Push early levels 1-3 to establish priority before his waveclear becomes oppressive, then look to roam frequently as you cannot match his post-6 shove speed.
