Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior sustain and tankiness, though Wukong can poke you down with Q if you're careless with positioning.
- Post-6 you maintain the advantage as your R gives you escape/engage tools while Wukong's R can be interrupted by your Q knockup if timed correctly.
How to Trade
- Look for extended trades where you can stack your passive - walk up, Q to slow, auto-attack repeatedly to build stacks, then W for the stun and damage.
- Avoid short poke trades where Wukong can Q-auto and disengage, as his burst is higher in quick exchanges.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish lane priority and deny Wukong's ability to roam effectively.
- Maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower once you have item advantages, as this forces Wukong to overextend for farm where you can punish with your superior all-in potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your Q on minions when Wukong is in range to trade, as it's your primary tool for both engaging and disengaging.
- Avoid chasing Wukong through unwarded areas post-6, as his W clone can easily set up ganks or allow him to turn fights with his R in jungle chokes.
