Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 through superior sustain and trading power, especially at level 2 when you get Q+W combo.
  • Post-6 you still win extended trades but must respect his R timing and disengage before he can heal back up.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is Q slow into W devour for guaranteed damage, then walk away using your passive movement speed.
  • Never commit to extended trades without your W available as he will out-sustain you with Q and fury generation.

Wave Control

  • Push early levels to establish lane priority and deny his farming, but transition to freezing once he gets items since he can match your push.
  • Control the wave near your tower where you can punish his all-ins with your W and jungle assistance.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste your W on minions when he's in lane as it's your only reliable escape and trading tool.
  • Avoid fighting him when he has full fury and R available unless you can guarantee the kill before his R expires.
