LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup clearly, especially once you reach level 3 where your Q slow into W stack pattern becomes reliable enough to force Shen into extended trades he cannot sustain through; post-6 Shen's R gives him global relevance but does not change the 1v1 dynamic in your favor — you still win if he stays in lane.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to Q to slow Shen, walk him down to stack your W passive to 3, then activate W to recover the grey health — repeat this cycle while using your natural tankiness to absorb his E-empowered Q poke, as his burst is insufficient to punish you before your sustain kicks in.
Wave Control
- Play for a slow push or freeze near your side of the lane to deny Shen the ability to safely poke you during CS, since if he is forced to walk up to last-hit under threat of your Q slow, you can punish him repeatedly and build a CS and health lead.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not waste your Q on a Shen who is actively using E to reposition, as missing your slow removes your ability to stick to him and stack W passive, which is the core of your damage and sustain loop — patience in landing Q is more important than aggression.
