- You win pre-6 through superior range and Q poke, but Lux can match your waveclear and has better mana efficiency.
- Post-6 you have kill pressure with R if you land E stun, but Lux's Q root into full combo can also one-shot you.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is Q poke when Lux uses abilities on minions, then all-in with Q-E stun combo when her Q is down.
- Never trade when her Q is available as getting rooted means taking her full combo and losing the trade heavily.
Wave Control
- Push early levels with Q to establish priority, then maintain slow pushes to build sphere advantage for all-ins.
- Avoid hard shoving after 6 unless you have vision, as Lux excels at setting up ganks with Q root.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E defensively against her poke - you need it for kill combos and her E-R can't kill you alone.
- Getting hit by her Q without your E available often results in death, especially post-6.
