Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 convincingly with your Q range advantage and ability to poke safely.
- At level 6, you still have the advantage if you land your stun combo, but Katarina's all-in potential becomes dangerous if she gets on top of you.
How to Trade
- You should poke with Q whenever Katarina goes for CS, then immediately back away to avoid her dagger trades.
- Save your E for when she jumps on you or tries to all-in, as the knockback can interrupt her combo completely.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push early to build up minions for safety, then hard shove and roam or recall.
- Avoid freezing as it puts you in a vulnerable position where Katarina can easily engage on you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your E aggressively to poke or waveclear when Katarina has her abilities up.
- Missing your stun means you have no escape tool and will likely die to her all-in combo.
