Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and Q poke, as Hwei lacks reliable gap-closing or sustain to match your consistent damage output.
- Post-6 you maintain advantage since your R provides guaranteed burst while Hwei's R requires setup and positioning that you can disrupt with E.
How to Trade
- You should Q-auto for short trades when Hwei uses abilities on minions, then immediately back off to avoid his retaliation combos.
- For extended trades, look for E stun opportunities to land guaranteed Q-W combos, but only commit when his escape abilities are down.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push early to build sphere advantage, then crash waves before roaming or backing to deny Hwei farm.
- Avoid hard shoving constantly as this gives Hwei free poke opportunities and removes your ability to zone him from CS with spheres.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must not waste E defensively against his poke combos, as this removes your primary tool for setting up kills and escaping ganks.
- Don't greedily chase kills into unwarded areas since Hwei excels at kiting backwards with his range and CC tools.
