Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 due to your Q poke and sustain from W, but Yone becomes stronger at level 6 with his ultimate engage potential.
- Your early game advantage diminishes significantly once he completes Berserker's Greaves and gains mobility.
How to Trade
- You should look to Q-E-W combo when Yone uses Q3 or E aggressively, as he's locked into animations and can't dodge your chain.
- Avoid extended trades after level 6 unless you can steal his ultimate, as his sustained damage with lethal tempo will outdamage you.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push early to build minion advantage for trades, then crash waves before his power spikes at levels 6 and 9.
- Avoid freezing against Yone as he can easily break freezes with his E and will outscale you in side lanes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must not waste your E on minions or use it predictably, as Yone can easily dodge it with his E and punish you during the cooldown.
- Never fight him in his minion wave after level 6, as his Q3 tornado combined with minion damage will win him the trade.
