- Pre-6 you dominate with Q-E poke and can force favorable trades, but post-6 you must avoid extended all-ins as Gwen's sustained damage and healing will overwhelm you in long fights.
How to Trade
- Use Q to poke through minions, then look for E-W-E2 combos when she steps up for CS, immediately backing off before she can respond with extended Q trades.
- Your goal is quick burst windows rather than sustained fighting where her passive healing kicks in.

- Maintain wave control through superior waveclear and look for roam timings when she's forced to farm under tower.
- You want to create short trade windows and avoid letting the lane state become a long extended fight where she can run you down.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never commit your E dash when her W is available, as she can become untargetable and turn the fight around with her sustained damage.
- Don't try to match her in extended skirmishes - your strength is burst and mobility, not sustained DPS battles.
