Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Akali's superior burst and energy sustain, but can start winning extended trades around level 4-5 when you have multiple spell rotations.
- Post-6 you win all-ins if you steal her R, as your stolen ultimate combined with your base kit provides more sustained damage than her single rotation.
How to Trade
- Look for E2-W-Q combos when Akali uses Q on minions or steps forward aggressively, as this forces her to either trade unfavorably or burn W defensively.
- Avoid short Q-only poke trades since her Q-passive auto outdamages yours and she can disengage cleanly with W or E.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to prevent her from freezing and zoning you with Q spam, then look to crash and roam since you have better skirmish potential.
- After level 6, maintain slow pushes to build minion advantages for all-ins, as extended fights favor your sustained damage and healing.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase her into her W shroud without vision, as she can easily turn the fight with her energy regeneration and stealth advantage.
- Avoid using E1 as your engage tool when her E is available, since she can easily dodge it and counter-engage while your escape is on cooldown.
