Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior range and sustain with your Q and passive, but Ekko becomes dangerous at level 6 with his all-in potential.
- His ultimate gives him kill pressure that you cannot match with raw damage alone.
How to Trade
- You should poke with Q when Ekko goes for CS, then immediately back away to avoid his Q return damage.
- Never trade in extended fights as his passive will proc and his mobility will allow him to disengage favorably.
Wave Control
- You want to slow push early waves to build minion advantages, then crash and recall to avoid Ekko's level 6 all-in timing.
- Maintain wave control in the center of the lane where you can use minions as shields against his Q.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never use your E aggressively without vision of the enemy jungler, as you have no escape tools if ganked.
- Do not chase Ekko into unwarded areas as his ultimate makes him nearly ungankable while you remain extremely vulnerable.
