Who Wins
- You lose early 1v1s levels 1-3 due to Darius's superior base stats and Q healing, but you can poke safely with Q from range.
- At level 6, you gain significant power with R but still lose extended all-ins if Darius gets on top of you with ghost or flash.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is Q poke when Darius goes for CS, then immediately back off before he can gap close with ghost or E pull.
- Never try to extended trade - use W to zone him from minions and E only as disengage when he commits onto you.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with Q to establish range advantage and recall for items, then maintain slow pushes to keep minions between you and Darius.
- Avoid freezing since Darius can run you down in extended lane, and use your range to last hit safely from distance.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never walk up to auto attack minions when Darius has E available, as the pull into W auto Q combo will chunk you heavily.
- Don't waste E aggressively for poke since it's your only escape tool when Darius commits with ghost.
