Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you struggle against Thresh's engage range and Aphelios' poke, especially Calibrum marks.
  • Post-6 your R transforms the lane as you become much tankier and gain AoE damage, making 2v2s more favorable.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use W to zone enemies from CS and follow up with E-Q when they're slowed or hooked by yourself.
  • Focus on landing E on Aphelios as he's immobile, then pull him into Vayne's range for follow-up damage.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Avoid roaming early as you're needed to survive lane phase and scale to level 6.
  • After 6, look for roams when you have R available and the wave is in a good state.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste E trying to catch Vayne as she can easily Q to dodge it.
  • Avoid fighting extended trades pre-6 without minion advantage, as you lack the sustain to match Aphelios' potential lifesteal.
