Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a meaningful range advantage and your W sustain lets you recover from her Q poke, but you must respect her E at all levels — a landed E into her tentacle setup kills you at level 3 even with your sustain.
- Post-6, her R is a hard counter to your kit because you cannot safely kite inside the tentacle field, and your R requires stacking that you cannot safely build if she keeps threatening all-ins.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use your Q to stack damage from max range, use W reactively after taking her Q to sustain back, and use E to reposition the moment she steps up for an E attempt; you win by accumulating poke damage over many short interactions, never by committing to an extended fight.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave quickly to deny her the slow-push tentacle setup and force the wave to reset near the middle of the lane or under your tower, where her tentacle placement is less threatening and you have more room to dodge her E.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let her land E while you are near her tentacles — this is the single interaction that loses you the lane instantly, as the soul extraction combined with tentacle slaps and her Q follow-up deals more burst than your W can recover from at any point in the laning phase.
