Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the poke war because your Q outranges Miss Fortune's auto-attacks and your W blocks her Q, but you do not win a straight 2v2 all-in because Braum's passive stacks quickly and Miss Fortune's damage output is high once she's in range.
  • Post-6, your R gives your team a massive engage or disengage tool, and combined with Leona's R, you have a stronger teamfight setup than Miss Fortune's R which can be interrupted.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q from max range, use W to block Miss Fortune's Q when she retaliates, and then disengage — you are not trying to all-in, you are trying to drain Miss Fortune's health bar over multiple short interactions.
  • When Miss Fortune is below 60% HP, Leona can look for an all-in and your R can be used to chase down or to disengage if the trade goes wrong.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave with your W to deny Miss Fortune's passive (Love Tap) stacking on minions and to force her to last-hit under pressure — a fast-pushing wave also limits Braum's ability to roam and keeps the lane state in your control.
  • When the wave is in their half of the lane, you can poke freely because Miss Fortune has no dash to escape and Braum cannot engage without overextending.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not waste your W trying to block every single ability — save it specifically for Miss Fortune's Q (which bounces onto you) and Braum's R, as those are the highest-impact abilities to negate.
  • Burning W on low-damage poke leaves you exposed to the combo that actually kills you.
