Who Wins
- You win early trades pre-6 through your superior base damages and health advantage, but Vladimir's Q sustain keeps him healthy enough to survive the laning phase.
- Post-6, Vladimir becomes significantly stronger as his R amplifies his burst potential while your R is primarily utility-focused in 1v1 scenarios.
How to Trade
- Look for short trades using E to slow Vladimir, then follow up with a quick Q tap or charged Q if he's forced to walk through it.
- Avoid extended trades where his Q sustain and potential W escape give him too much value over time.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to deny Vladimir CS and force him to use Q on minions rather than sustain, but be prepared to give up wave control post-6 when his waveclear improves.
- Focus on building slow pushes to crash waves and recall safely, as Vladimir struggles with last-hitting under tower early.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E on Vladimir when his W is available, as he can easily pool the slow and negate your follow-up damage.
- Avoid charging Q in obvious situations where he can simply W to avoid it and make you vulnerable to jungle ganks.
