Who Wins
- You win early trades pre-6 through superior sustain and poison damage over time, as Zaahen needs extended fights to stack Determination but lacks the tools to force them without taking significant poison damage.
- Post-6 you lose all-ins once Zaahen has R available, as the massive AoE damage combined with max Determination stacks and revive passive makes you unable to match his burst and sustained damage.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves running at Zaahen with Q active, landing W to slow him, then disengaging before he can stack significant Determination through extended trades.
- Never commit to long fights where he can build stacks - use hit-and-run tactics with poison damage to whittle him down over multiple short exchanges.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to deny Zaahen farm and force him under tower where he struggles to stack Determination on you, then look for proxy farming opportunities once he hits 6.
- Avoid slow-pushing or freezing as this gives him opportunities for extended trades where his passive thrives.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never underestimate his all-in potential once he reaches max Determination stacks, especially post-6 when his R can chunk you heavily before the revive even comes into play.
- Don't get baited into extended trades thinking your sustain will carry you - his stacking AD bonus can quickly overwhelm your damage output in prolonged fights.
