Who Wins
- You lose most 1v1s pre-6 as Jax can Q onto you and trade favorably with his E dodge and passive attack speed.
- Post-6 you still struggle in extended fights as his R gives him significant resistances and damage that outscale your poison damage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to Q the wave while moving toward Jax, then W behind him and run away with the poison trail - avoid extended trades.
- If he jumps on you, immediately W under yourself and run toward your tower while he's slowed.
Wave Control
- Push waves constantly with Q to deny Jax farm and create roaming opportunities, as you can't match his split push later.
- Focus on building up minion waves to crash into his tower, then look for teleport plays or jungle invades.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to fight Jax in extended trades or when he has his E available, as his dodge completely negates your ability to kite effectively.
- Avoid getting caught in side lanes without vision as his Q-E combo can easily set up ganks against your immobile kit.
