LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Sylas by positioning your W spirit blade to intercept his E dash, then activating your Q taunt zone to force him into unfavorable trades while your passive shield absorbs his burst.
- From level 6, you reliably win 1v1s by baiting his E engage, immediately taunting him with your E to lock him in place, and using your Q zone to drain his health while your W blocks his Q projectile, denying his primary damage and heal.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Sylas typically runs a full clear prioritizing Blue side (Blue > Gromp > Wolves > Red > Raptors > Krugs) to reach level 3 quickly for early skirmishes, or he may opt for a three-camp clear into an early gank on a pushed lane, as he relies on getting ahead through kills rather than pure farm.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Sylas at his second buff camp around 3:30–3:45 when you have level 3 and he is finishing his clear on the opposite side — your Q zone and W spirit blade in tight jungle paths give you a decisive advantage in the 1v1 before he can safely disengage.
- Focus on forcing him off his camps rather than necessarily killing him, as denying his farm and experience lead is sufficient to neutralize his mid-game power spike.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E taunt reactively after he has already landed his Q root on you — if you are rooted, your E will miss or be wasted, leaving you without your primary CC tool and allowing him to freely chain his W heal and follow-up damage to win the trade decisively.
