Who Wins
- You lose most pre-6 trades due to Kennen's range advantage, but you can win short trades if you land Q and use W to block his follow-up damage.
- Post-6 the 1v1 remains difficult since Kennen's R provides more immediate kill pressure than your utility-focused ultimate.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern involves landing Q on Kennen, then using the empowered autos while your W is active to block his retaliation damage.
- Look for opportunities when Kennen uses abilities on minions to close distance with E and force extended trades where your sustain advantage matters.
Wave Control
- Focus on freezing the wave near your tower to deny Kennen's poke advantage and force him to overextend for CS.
- When you do push, do it quickly to create roaming opportunities with your R, as you provide more value to your team than Kennen in mid-game skirmishes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase Kennen through minion waves when he has E available, as you'll take unnecessary minion damage while he escapes safely.
- Avoid using E defensively too early in trades, as Kennen can simply kite backwards and re-engage when your gap closer is on cooldown.
