Who Wins

  • You can win short trades pre-6 with Q engage into auto-E-auto then immediately backing off before he procs passive.
  • Post-6 becomes much harder since R removes your escape and clone, making it a pure stat-check you'll lose without significant item advantage.

How to Trade

  • Use Q to engage with backstab auto-E-auto, then immediately disengage before he can land E pull or proc passive on you.
  • Never commit to extended trades since his W shield and passive damage over time will out-sustain your burst.

Wave Control

  • Focus on freezing the wave near your tower to deny his push and create gank opportunities, as Mordekaiser is immobile and vulnerable when overextended.
  • Avoid pushing unless you're roaming since he can easily clear waves and you lose kill pressure when he's safe under tower.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use Q aggressively when his E is available, as getting pulled in leads to guaranteed passive proc and extended trade you'll lose.
  • Never fight him in his R without QSS or significant item lead, as you lose both your escape and clone while he gains your stats.
