Who Wins
- You win early 1v1s through superior base stats and W shield negating his Q healing.
- At level 6, your R gives you displacement control but his R engage with Determination stacks becomes dangerous if he's been farming safely.
How to Trade
- Use Q movement speed to gap close, then auto-E-auto for Grit buildup before using W when he tries to trade back.
- Save your R for when he commits with his E dash since you can displace him into bad positions or your team.
Wave Control
- Freeze waves near your tower to force him into dangerous positions for CS since he needs to stack Determination through combat.
- His W pull becomes less threatening when you control minion positioning and have tower backup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W on minions or poke since the cooldown leaves you vulnerable to his all-in with R.
- Avoid extended trades when he has high Determination stacks as his doubled AD bonus can outdamage your Grit-based trading pattern.
